Catholic Schools Week is a pretty big deal at St. Teresa Catholic School. As the name suggests, this week in January is a celebration of all things Catholic education. While the festivities may look a little different this year, you can still expect to see our students, teachers and faculty celebrating from January 31-February 6. Here is some background on Catholic Schools Week:

Why We Celebrate Catholic Education

The theme of this year’s 47th annual Catholic Schools Week, “Faith. Excellence. Service,” gives a perfect impression of what to expect when sending your child to a Catholic school. With challenging academics, an emphasis on community service, and a strong foundation in faith, Catholic schools educate future leaders. At St. Teresa Catholic School, our goal is to help students reach their full potential in all aspects of life.

What to Expect from St. Teresa

The STREAM curriculum we have built for our students blends creativity and critical thinking with exploration of faith. At our school, we not only offer well-rounded academics; we also allow students to discover their God-given talents through extracurricular activities. From the arts to sports to special interests, we have the perfect after school activity for every child who attends our school. Whether your child thrives in the classroom, on the field, or at center stage, St. Teresa is the perfect place for them to discover their full potential.

Modified Traditions

Like every other Catholic Schools Week, we will gather for Mass, assemblies, recognition ceremonies and other special events, just with a little more distance between us. Following all COVID guidelines, we will do our part to make sure the week’s events are safe for every student, teacher, and member of our community. We ask that everyone who joins us does the same by sanitizing or washing hands frequently, wearing masks and keeping a safe distance from others. The health and safety of everyone involved is our priority.

With over 57 years of academic excellence, St. Teresa Catholic School, a Titusville Catholic school, provides a quality education that challenges and empowers students to develop to their full potential. Students foster qualities that are essential for lifelong learning and are equipped for future success.
